Membership

As a member of Gleneagle Leisure you will enjoy full access to facilities including our 25 metre Pool, our spacious fully equipped and air conditioned Gym which caters for both strength and cardio training for a balanced work out. Childrens splash pool, adults only area including Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, Squash Courts, Tennis Courts, 18 hole Pitch and Putt, access to swimming lessons, discounted fitness classes.

Swimming Pools

We have two great swimming pools in our leisure centre. Our large pool is 25metres in length, the shallow end is 0.9metres deep and the deep end is 1.57metres deep. This pool includes two dedicated swim lanes – perfect if your exercise regime includes swimming laps. Wearing a swimming hat is compulsory.

Our Kids’ Splash Pool is ideal for children and learners. Its depth ranges from 0.4metre to 0.6metre.

We also have an adult’s only suite which includes a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi - ideal for unwinding after an energetic swim or workout. This relaxation area is an adult only zone and for those aged 18 years or over.

Please note: We kindly request that fake tan & makeup are completely removed before entering the leisure centre as it damages the quality of our pool water. Guests who fail to abide by this procedure will be denied entry to Gleneagle Leisure. Swimming hats are compulsory. Children u-14 must always be accompanied by an adult (over 18) in the water. 14 - 16-year-olds must be supervised by an adult (over 18) from the viewing area.

Kids Clubs

At Gleneagle, we have everything you need for a fun, family holiday, in fact we are one of Ireland’s top-rated family hotels .

With a selection of family rooms, suites and apartments, we can cater for families big and small.

As one of Ireland's leading family hotels, our kids program ensures children are welcomed with open arms and all the facilities and activities that we have arranged are with their enjoyment in mind.

Please be advised we only run our Kids Clubs during the peak times only. June, July, August, Midterm Breaks and Christmas.

Tennis

We have two outdoor, savannah tennis courts.

Each court can be floodlit for evening play.

The clubhouse will be open daily 9.30am to 6pm. After 6pm is booking only and equipment can be hired from the aquila club.

Gleneagle residents and Leisure members enjoy free court rental, while day visitors can pay to hire the courts. Rackets and balls are also available for hire. Rental costs €5 for two rackets and tennis balls for one hour. Floodlights, if required, also incur a charge.

Squash

Gleneagle Leisure is home to two squash courts and Gleneagle Squash Club.

Hotel residents and Gleneagle Leisure members enjoy free court rental, while day visitors can pay to hire the courts.

Pitch and Putt

Our 18-hole Pitch and Putt course opens at 9.30am every morning (weather dependent), the course closes at 8pm during the summer months. The clubhouse will be open daily 9.30am to 6pm,after 6pm is booking only and equipment can be hired from Gleneagle Leisure.

It usually takes between one and two hours to complete all 18 holes. Residents of Gleneagle along with members of Gleneagle Leisure mont members can play the course free of charge. There is a charge to hire clubs (€5 per set), should you need to do so. Day visitors are also welcome to play the course but must pay green fees.

Workout

Our fully equipped and air-conditioned gym caters for both strength and cardio training for a balanced work out. We offer a variety of fitness equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes and cross trainers,weight machines including squat racks and a selection of free weights.
We also have an adult’s only suite which includes a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi - ideal for unwinding after an energetic workout. This relaxation area is an adult only zone and is only for those 18 years or over.
