Citizenship Ceremonies

The Citizenship Ceremonies will take place on the 1st & 2nd of December 2025 at Gleneagle Killarney, V93 V6WF. Located one mile from the scenic town of Killarney on the Muckross Road, and overlooking the beautiful Killarney National Park, Gleneagle Killarney, as a location, provides a stunning, safe, relaxed, and inspirational backdrop for the Citizenship Ceremonies.

Gleneagle Leisure

We have two great swimming pools in our leisure centre. Our large pool is 25metres in length, the shallow end is 0.9metres deep and the deep end is 1.57metres deep. This pool includes two dedicated swim lanes – perfect if your exercise regime includes swimming laps.

Our Kids’ Splash Pool is ideal for children and learners. Its depth ranges from 0.4metre to 0.6metre.

We also have an adult’s only suite which includes a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi - ideal for unwinding after an energetic swim or workout. This relaxation area is an adult only zone and for those aged 18 years or over. We also have a fully equppied gym that caters for both strength and cardio training.

Pitch n Putt & Tennis Courts

We have two outdoor, savannah tennis courts. Each court can be floodlit for evening play.

Gleneagle residents and Aquila Club members enjoy free court rental, while day visitors can pay to hire the courts. Rackets and balls are also available for hire. Rental costs €5 for two rackets and tennis balls for one hour. Floodlights, if required, also incur a charge.

Our 18-hole Pitch and Putt course opens at 10am every morning (weather dependent), the course closes at 9pm during the summer months.

It usually takes between one and two hours to complete all 18 holes. Residents of The Gleneagle along with members of the Aquila Club can play the course free of charge. There is a charge to hire clubs (€5 per set), should you need to do so. Day visitors are also welcome to play the course but must pay green fees

Onsite Dining Facilties

We have multiple onsite dining facilities at Gleneagle Killarney including Fiadh Restaurant, The Backstage Bar/OD's Restaurant and The Green Room.

Dining out when you have dietary restrictions can be difficult. We cater for various food allergies, lactose-intolerance, gluten-free and ceoliac dietary requirements. We offer a variety of gluten free products which include gluten free breads, gluten free sausages and gluten free cereals as well as having dairy free options available. Please inform your waiter of any dietary requirements when you arrive.
